I was born in America, but at age 15 I started travelling, and living in different countries.  First alone, then with my husband and now with our family.  I have been living in Den Haag since 2003.

I've tried to take lessons in each of the countries where I have lived and use the images from these places to inspire me in my work.  Since coming to Den Haag I've been working mainly in acrylic.  Most of my work is figurative, but my style is constantly evolving.  I enjoy experimenting with color and technique and make an effort to try something new with each painting.

Last year I created a series called Umbrellas.  It is based on my experience with the rain here in the Netherlands.  It is an optimistic view of the rainy season. Check my website for more of my work.
